Connecting the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals to the LCC
UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
The UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were established in 2015 as an urgent call for action by all nations in a global partnership and provide a blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future. What does it mean for Learning Connections Conference?
As part of our ongoing commitment to sustainability, a selection of this year's LCC workshops/sessions were mapped across the various UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This work was completed by members of Facilities Management Services (Beth Sills, Jadon Hook, and Paulina Szlachta) in order to demonstrate the interconnectedness of the SDGs across various areas.
We invite everyone to Download the LCC Summary document that was prepared by the FMS team and review UNESCO website to learn more about the SDGs.
