Connecting the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals to the LCC 

UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

The UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were established in 2015 as an urgent call for action by all nations in a global partnership and provide a blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future. The goals recognize that ending poverty and other deprivations must go hand-in-hand with strategies that improve health and education, reduce inequality, and spur economic growth – all while tackling climate change and working to preserve our oceans and forests. What does it mean for Learning Connections Conference?

As part of our ongoing commitment to sustainability, a selection of this year's LCC workshops/sessions were mapped across the various UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This work was completed by members of Facilities Management Services (Beth Sills, Jadon Hook, and Paulina Szlachta) in order to demonstrate the interconnectedness of the SDGs across various areas.
