LCC Theme & Introducing David Usher (Keynote)

February 1, 2024

The LCC Planning Team began exploring various themes in September 2023 by reviewing the participant feedback from last year’s conference and met with various groups at the college to learn about new college initiatives. These observations were shared with our brilliant SLC Communications department, and they worked diligently to amalgamate the ideas into this year’s theme: Creating: Our Future Together

LCC 2024 will bring us together to learn and be inspired by trends and developments shaping the world and impacting our students and college. Visit the human side of what we do through a lens of what could be possible as we prepare for the future, together.

This year’s conference will begin with a keynote by David Usher (Juno Award-Winning Musician | Creativity and AI Expert) as he uses a mix of conversation, experimentation, and live music, in a presentation designed to open the mind, lift the spirit and show us how flexible creative thinking is the perfect tool to help us navigate this period of disruption. We invite you to read more about David Usher’s work by visiting the LCC website
